I'm back! Sort of…

Well I’m back on my feet again. Sort of…

What a weird bug I caught. Started feeling crappy on Tues (sore muscles, scratchy throat) and I decided to take a few days off to rest and sleep this bug into submission. Thank goodness for my snuggle buddy. He is such a good dog when I’m sick. Lays right beside me and helps me sweat out all my toxins.

We did a lot of sleeping.

Drank a lot of soup.

Played a lot of “Words With Friends” on the iphone (my user name is sarahkramersuperstar if you want to play a game.)

I took a bunch of hot baths in epsom salts.

And by this weekend I felt well enough to get dressed and run some errands for the shop. While I was shopping I may have purchased a Snuggie For Dogs. It was 70% off! I couldn’t help myself! *laugh*

So while I’m physically feeling a lot better (I was as weak as a kitten for a while there) I am still stuck with an annoying dry cough that won’t go away. I cough myself awake 100X a night. It’s making for a very fretful sleep. Anyone have any natural remedies for soothing a dry cough?

BTW. I think Fergus is enjoying how much time I’m spending in bed.

Lavender oil! Mix 20 drops (LOTS) of pure lavender oil with a good squirt of moisturizer and rub into your chest/neck/under your nose. Works for me everytime!
