Biohazard

So now that we’re done the majority of the renovations in the front of the shop – our NEXT project is the biohazard room.

Right now it has wood paneling (ahhh so 70’s) so we are replacing that with drywall, raising the sunken floor to be floor-level with the front of the shop and once that’s all done … I GET TO DECORATE!  🙂

The first order of business once the new floors/walls are up is to lay down some Armstrong floor tiles like the ones I did in my kitchen.

Only instead of white and gray I’m going to do black and gray. I was going to do a crazy colour but decided to do a neutral floor so I can wallpaper the walls something crazy instead! You can easily change the walls … changing the tile is never easy.  🙂

I did a basic pattern in the kitchen but at the shop I’m thinking of doing something a bit more interesting. Here’s where YOU come in … I’d love your input.

I kind of dig this pattern:

I also dig the stripes:

But I think my favourite is this configuration…

What do you think?

i dont know, man. I love them all, but the “configuration” tile reminds me of Walmart’s idea of “modern” for bathroom mats and ect. The first picture, the weaved one, is cool…but if it were me, I would go with the stripes. They’re unique but classy and still neutral enough to do carzy things to the walls if you wanted to. keep us updated!

I really like the first one – the weave. Fairly basic but with a lil somethin’ somethin’.

I love the red and white stripes .. the red is dark and I like that shade of red !

oh there are two Jenn’s … fun .. okay Jenn from NJ said the stripes 🙂

  7. Alisha says:

Stripes! Nice combination of light and dark colors whereas the other two styles have two dark colors. Either way it’s exciting!

My favorite is the last one, the one that you prefer as well! I think that it would look great. My least favorite is the second one! I am not a fan of that at all!

Now, I only need to get to BC to see it 🙂

Oh yeah, the configuration! Ya gotta do it!!!

Good choices but I wouldn’t go with the red stripes though, not in a tatoo shop… the first pick would allow for more creativity on the walls as it will ground your decor. Some of these patterns could be mixed for an interesting effect.
