Well I have some bad news – the cats in Montreal were put down. I had managed to find them a temporary home … but I was too late. I feel very sad about that. What a shame. 🙁
I’ve been so busy the last few months that I needed to replenish my soul a little. It’s been a while since we trudged the trials through my favourite rain forest so we hopped in the smartcar and headed out to Thetis Lake.
The weather was perfect today … the lake was like glass.
This is the place I go to drain all my worries and stresses. If these trees could talk. Oy! It’s also the place where Fergus is the most happy. He has the biggest grin on his face when we’re here. Seriously. He grins!
But boy-howdy does he ever get muddy … so I had to give him a bath when we got home to wash away all that trail dirt. So what do you do when you have a damp dog shivering after a bath? You snuggle of course! This doesn’t look comfortable to me but he slept propped up on my arm for an hour. Tired old dog. And by old dog … I mean me.
Beautiful photos, Sarah! Love that tree. Oh, Fergus is such a cute little muffin. I’m sorry to hear about the cats in Montreal too..you did what you could. =(
Sounds like a wonderful day, the walk looked amazing!
I’m sorry about the cats 🙁 Looks like that walk was well-needed and deserved!
