I was going to do another vlog this weekend but I’ve hurt my neck (stupid old car accident injury) so I can’t sit at the computer for very long … Hope you don’t mind waiting a few for another one. 🙂
In other news since I came home with all that Daiya Cheese we’ve been cheezing it up every night for dinner … it’s pretty yum-tastic.
Field Roast with roasted potatoes and Broccoli w/cheese sauce
Lasagna from HIAV. Yummers!
We’ve done Mac & Cheese and Nachos. What else should we try? Any ideas? Ok … back to my trusty heating pad and icepack. Le Sigh.
I didn’t even think of Lasagna – I am so making lasagna tonight!
I have to say we were a touch dissappointed when we made our very much anticipated Daiya pizza 🙁 The Daiya seemed to sort of liquify with the pizza sauce, and the pizza ended up a big wet mess. Other than that, it’s been a pretty darn amazing product!
I look forward to seeing what else you come up with for it!
Really? That hasn’t happened for me. It stayed gooey just like real cheese … I wonder why. Hmm. 🙁
Have you tried it with pizza or calzones? Or enchiladas?
Oh yes. I forgot. We did try Pizza already… thanks for the other two ideas. 🙂
How about Daiya cheddar grilled cheese, dipped in creamy tomato soup? I think it’s my new favorite.
Might be time to break out the Panini press…
What about French Onion soup baked in the oven? Soooo good and winter-y.
Where can you get Field Roast? Is it available in Canada?
I bought it at Karmavore.ca They deliver. 🙂
Karmavore has got to be the coolest business name evah! I doubt they deliver to NB, but I am looking forward to trying this product when I’m on the West Coast next Summer. Still, at least we can now get Green Cuisine tempeh burgers here at the Atlantic Superstore, which is progress. And the President’s Choice “chicken” breasts are pretty good. I’ve tried making them myself, but am finding it hard to get the seitan into nice looking shapes.
They deliver everywhere …
I’ll check out their shipping… Their shoes look awesome.
