2010 Save-A-Turkey Trot – Sunday, October 3rd, 11am
OrganicAthlete Victoria and Friends of Animals are excited to present the first annual Save-A-Turkey Trot! It’s a 5km run/jog/walk, out-and-back along the beautiful waterfront trail from Clover Point in Victoria, BC. More information available HERE.

Sign-up is from 11am to 11:15am, and the run begins at 11:20am. It’s non-competitive and for fun. We’re encouraging people to consider other animals, like turkey’s at Thanksgiving, and hopefully persuade people adopt a vegan diet and outlook.

All are welcome of course, we’ll also be distributing vegan literature and recipes, all free! The run is $2, and prizes will be distributed by draw – and lots of prizes as well, currently valued over $500!
