Yes, it’s hard to eat out. And it’s a pain to BE a pain, asking “what’s in this?” when you go out.
There have been instances when friends & family have made a HUGE deal about “making a vegan meal” for us, how much time they spent, where they had to shop, etc, etc… Then as you’re into your first few bites, they casually admit they used chicken stock. “What? It’s not meat!”
Um, I’m pretty sure they still use beef tallow in their deep fryers.
Q: Are any of McDonald’s foods considered vegetarian?
A: McDonald’s does not represent any of our foods as being vegetarian. However, we gladly accommodate customer requests to custom-order items without meat (i.e., without beef, pork, chicken or fish). Note that even though we provide the flexibility to order items without meat, we cannot guarantee that during preparation the item does not come into contact with meat or poultry.

I have no idea. I wouldn’t give McDonalds my money for any reason.
If someone else bought your son fries… what are you gonna do? Move on. 🙂

i hate it when people at work say “oh, sorry, you CANT eat it cause you’re vegan” i reply with “i can eat whatever i want, i just CHOOSE not to”..
petty, i know. just one of my asshole-vegan pet peeves.
