In Oct of 2003 just a few weeks before Gerry and I were to buy Tattoo Zoo our financing fell through and our dreams were dashed. We thought we weren’t going to be able to buy the shop and like a knight in shiny armor our friend Jay came through as a private investor. We were so worried his kind offer would hurt our friendship or that we would never be able to pay him back… well yesterday we passed him our last cheque! We are now free of our debt to Jay … but we will forever be indebted to him for his faith in us and for helping us out of a jam. Thank you so much Jay!! We love you!
And then we ate. *laugh* I won’t post ALL of the photos but here are a few from our local Buddhist vegan restaurant called Lotus Pond.
Mmmmm. Won Ton Soup.
Spring Rolls… mmmm.
Sweet N Sour “chicken” balls… mmm… balls.
And my favourite – Ginger B. Gosh it’s good.
Then Gerry and I finally changed the light in the dining room!! So exciting.
Thank you e-bay. 🙂
As you can see… the dining room has become the office while The Germans are staying with us in the office. By the way… I need to thank them for Fergus’s new toy. He’s sehr verliebt with his new toy.
Congrats! There are few greater feelings in the world then paying off a big debit! I was happy for you reading the post then you got to the food and I forgot about the money stuff and it just made me really hungry.
