Spring

Spring has official sprung here in Victoria … the Cherry Trees are in full bloom!!

Speaking of cherry … the lease was up on our smartcar and somehow Gerry and I ended up with a Fiat 500 in Cherry Red! It’s a sweet-ass car… we’re stoked.  🙂

We’ve also been spending more time outside … yesterday we want for short walk around Thetis Lake.

And today we went for a longer walk around Thetis Lake … 🙂

Another sign is Fergus’s spring hair-cut which shows off his delicious neck-rolls!! 🙂

Spring also means that I want to do more handy things around the house … we had our balconies fixed last year and the contractor left the floor bare with a textured paint. It’s gross and ugly and hurts my feet so when I was at the hardware store the other day I found EnviroTile.

So my patio went from this …

To this in about 15 minutes!! 🙂

They snap into place and are made from recycled tires!! Looks 1000% better already. I’m not quite done … Gotta save something for next weekend.  🙂
