This whole VegNewsGate has got me really bummed.
Our amazing vegan community is ripe with talent so why would you not use your platform to celebrate those talented friends. Bah … 🙁
In other news … let’s look at some real vegan food porn shall we? All the food photos below were prepared/styled using vegan ingredients and were photographed by a vegan photographer.
I love that there’s a copy of VegNews in the first photo. Classic!
🙂
Beautiful photos!! I am going to have to go back through my copy of HIAV and make some of those recipes!
I couldn’t agree more about the fabulous vegan photographers out there. Fat Free Vegan, Manifest Vegan, Bittersweet, Peas and Thank You…those are just a few blogs off the top of my head where the photography looks just as beautiful and professional as anything I’ve ever seen in a magazine! Good food styling and photography doesn’t have to cost a fortune, and most vegans I know are happy to volunteer their time and effort for a good cause.
I should not have looked at these yet. I’m so hungry!!! 😉
Those sticky buns look sooooo good!!!! I’ve been trying to “be good,” so I can drop the last 5 lbs I need to lose before my husband’s promotion ceremony in mid-May, but I might just need to bust out my Sarah Kramer cookbooks to whip up some sticky buns (and while I’m at it, might as well bake up some of the cookies in there, too!). YUM!!! Vegan food doesn’t just LOOK better than non-vegan, it tastes way better, too!!
Food = yummy.
Pottery = want! I know what little gift I’ll be buying for myself next!
Why did I look at these when I can’t afford to buy food? Rice just doesn’t seem as appealing after seeing all that gorgeous food.
Tell me Sarah, how can you possibly afford to take all those photos?
*sigh*
