I love that you are working with BC Poodle Rescue! We got our dog from there just over a year ago, when we got her she was an emaicated little waif. She had been brought in from California, and when she was brought into Canada her little legs wouldn’t even support her body. She had to be hand fed, had horrible kennel cough and had basically given up. We got her about 2 weeks after and she was still so skinny, still wanting to be hand fed, had the worst kennel cough my vet had ever seen, and we were told that she may always have it and would more than likely be an extremely shy dog due to the neglect and abuse she suffered. We took her on anyhow.
It has been just over a year now, and she is a completely different dog. You would honestly never know that it was the same rough looking little pup that showed up a year ago, and we love her to bits. BC Poodle Resue rocks!!
I’ve included a link to my blog, I have written about her on there too, and included pictures.
