Day 14… This photo is the reason I started this 365. Fergus is now almost 10. My niece Heidi is 15. These two “cousins†love each other very much.
Fergus never lays on his back and lets just anyone molest him … except for Heidi! 🙂
Thank goodness for the molesting because Heidi found a lump on Fergus’s chest!! 🙁
I immediately took him to the vet and it turned out to be a Lipoma (a benign tumor composed of fatty tissue). My vet says it’s nothing to worry about but to keep an eye on it.
We are now calling it his “old man lump†and keeping a watchful eye. It’s hard to think of Fergus as a senior dog … I still think of him as a puppy.
Time sure flies when you are having fun with the people/fur-friends that you love and sometimes you forget to appreciate moments like this. That’s why I’m doing this project.
