Star Trek is AWEsome!!
I want you to know that I am a LOVER of all things Star Trek. I love the original series. I love almost all the spin-offs (maybe not the one with Scott Bacula) and this new movie is inspired!! Love love loved it. The movie had one tiny flaw which was a brief cameo by Tyler Perry that was weird and out of place. But other than that … excellent!
What bugs me to no end is that kid at the beginning using the wrong middle name. Just a tiny little thing, but it just gets under my skin. I really look forward to seeing the movie, though – glad you enjoyed it. ^_^
Damn Tyler Perry, dude gets around. I can’t wait to see this film!

I got to see it free on Thursday night, due to the fact that I belong to Starfleet…really I do. However, I was hoping for the best and prepared for the worst. I was not disappointed.
I gre up on TOS, (yes I am that old) and I have embraced nearly every movie and series. did I like them all? No, I had my favorites and there was many-a-thing I would have chenged in some movies.
I certainly would not have even made Enterprise. Loce Scott, just not in that role.
I just watched you clip again, but I do not see where the kid messed up the middle name. He said (at least to my ears) , ‘My name is James Tiberius Kirk.’
Someone please correct me if I am wrong. Could be these 47 year old ears.
But back to the movie. FAN-FLIPPING-TASTIC! Go see it, you will not be disapointed and you DO NOT have to be a Trekkie to like it. My 2 children saw it and they Loved It!

Agreed, it was amazing. going to see it in Imax this weekend, can’t wait!!
I loved it too. My eyes almost popped out with the Trek goodness.
It was great but I don’t like mushy Spock. 🙁
