Karmavore Fundraiser

One more quick reminder about the Karmavore fundraiser on Jan 23rd at 6pm

You can purchase tickets HERE.

For the price of your ticket you will receive a copy of my 2011 GoVegan Calendar plus  Janice from Hearts on Noses Pig Rescue will be there.

There will be loads of free vegan hors d’oeuvres, baked goodies (from Karmavore’s new deli). There’s a silent auction with some fantastic prizes (including a gift certificate from Tattoo Zoo and on and on.

It’s going to be a really fun event and the $$ raised will to to Hearts on Noses Pig Rescue and The BC Poodle and Small Dog Rescue (they are the ones helping me re-home Dexter).

Please “share” this post with your friends. We need to get the word out about the party and raise some $$ for the animals!! Don’t let me down Vancouver!! 🙂

Another Jessicurl review! :)

I LOVE IT! Lydia was one of the Jessicurl contest contestants and here’s what he had to say about Jessicurl.
I woke up this morning so excited about trying the Jessiecurl samples! This is my hair untouched as is when I woke up…
These products are amazing, gentle, nourishing and my hair feels soft and shinny. Then one shower and Jessie curl samples later I became the Confident Curl Queen of Quadra Island!
It is now 5:41 and the ringlet curls have lasted all day! Thanks sarah!

Toronto cat lovers!!

This beatiful green eyed lady needs a home!

She was found in my friends backyard, has been to see the vet (no micro chip), posters have been put up around the hood but nothing …

So we need to find her new home!! She’s good with kids and is super friendly.

She is currently being fostered at my friends house but they are mega-allergic so we need to expedite this process. Anyone have room in their house for another cat? 🙂

HEY VANCOUVER!! – Fundraiser date change reminder!!

Hey Kids,
Due to scheduling conflict with a family funeral that I must attend on the 22nd – Karmavore has graciously rescheduled the date of the fundraiser to Sunday Jan 23rd (6-8pm).

I hope this doesn’t put too much of a kink in your plans and that you can still attend the fundraiser!! Don’t forget that we are raising $$ for Hearts on Noses Pig Rescue and The BC Poodle and Small Dog Rescue (they are the ones helping me re-home Dexter).  :)
