GoVegan Calendar – Dec

How is it Dec already? When did that happen? *laugh*

I really like this months photo … the inspiration came from these vintage magazine soup ads. As I was doing research for the calendar I kept running across “soup for lunch” ads and I thought they were adorable. Rudee from SSOV did a great job with the art-work.

I love the BEAUTIFUL Bettie Page dress I’m wearing. I’m so glad I kept this one because I don’t see it for sale on the website anymore … Although I haven’t worn it out anywhere yet. Hmmmm. I think Gerry needs to take me somewhere fancy.  🙂

The glasses are my actual reading glasses and they are by LaFont. The necklace is a vintage piece that I’ve had since high-school and the polkadot apron is also vintage. Speaking of aprons; in an attempt to “clean house” a little I recently started selling some of my vintage apron collection and you lucky ducks can purchase them in the Sarah’s Place store.

The amazing green bowls are from Flavour Design Studio and the recipe for Margo’s Veggie Peanut Stew is soooo yummy and perfect for this time of year. Everyone!! Let’s all thank Margo for sharing her fabu recipe with the rest of the class. 🙂

After we shot the photo everyone kept telling me how much I looked like Tina Fey pretending to be Sarah Palin … I was like “You are crazy! I don’t look like either of them!” but now that I look at this photo … hmmmm.

I kind of see it.  🙂

So that’s it for the 2010 calendar! I hope you enjoyed the 2010 GoVegan calendar as much as I enjoyed putting it together.

BTW – You can get copies of the *new* 2011 GoVegan Calendar at most bookstores in N.America and if you’d like an autographed copy you can purchase them HERE at the Sarah’s Place store.

With the year almost over I need to start thinking of new-years resolutions for 2011. Have any good ideas for me???

Good god, if only the tiniest bit your soul would rub off on Sarah Palin. The world would be a better place.

You should send her your cookbooks.

    Hope you feel better!!
